Our goal is to help, even just a little, in shaping yours and your child's life in the most positive and magical way possible. We promote and enrich a strong and consistent atmosphere of positivity, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our thoughtful and unique magic-focused programs promise to foster your child's spatial awareness, enhance their imagination, develop character, and help build their confidence. Brooklyn Magic Shop offers after-school magic classes both onsite and offsite in partnership with local Brooklyn and Manhattan schools; weekday and weekend Private Magic Classes tailored to all ages and skill levels; Adult Magic Programs; Magic Date Nights for couples, groups, and families; Magic Day Camps during school holidays; Magic Summer Camps; and Magic Potion and Spell Classes. Private Magic Class

Brooklyn Magic Shop offers patient and immersive magic learning experiences for children (ages 5+) and adults of all skill-levels. From card magic to coin magic, these private, customizable 1-hour magic classes are perfect for curious learners who are looking for a unique introduction to the art of magic. Private Magic Classes are also recommended for performing magicians who are looking to grow their technique and structure. Private magic classes at Brooklyn Magic Shop are completely customized to meet your magic needs.​

Magic Materials: Basic magic materials are included with the exception of a student request for additional recommended materials (e.g. books, custom props, individualized props, and specialty magic).​

Brooklyn Magic Shop's, drop-in magic discovery classes are designed to inspire and grow young magicians' and cater to all skill levels and interests. Every magic class will center upon a different magic theme. Magic students will explore fun magic prop making, card magic, the art of mind reading, and so much more. Magic students will learn the important foundations of magic using cards, coins, and everyday objects. Additionally, students will learn how to use misdirection, sleight-of-hand, and more. Magic students will be able to confidently perform complete mini-magic routines using all the concepts learned in each class. Magic is a continuous learning art form. Come along as we explore the mysteries of magic. At Brooklyn Magic Shop, we suspend all disbelief and let our imaginations soar!

Intermediate Magic
Arts Program
• New York City Intermediate Magic Classes for
Children
• Ages 9 to 14
• Fridays After School
• 1 hour

Students will learn the foundations of magic, inclusive of history and theory, and develop a deeper understanding of magic as a performing art. Students will learn sleight-of-hand, prop making, physical and psychological misdirection techniques, and performance styles with a focus on close-up magic using coins, cards, everyday objects, and more. Students will further explore character development, scripting, and the importance of structural phasing. Students will be able to demonstrate multi-phased magic routines using misdirection and sleight-of-hand in our optional student magic showcase.

Materials: All magic materials are included with the exception of a student request for additional recommended materials (e.g. books and individualized props).​

Foundations of Magic
Series I and Series II
• 6-week Adult Magic Program​s

Series I: Brooklyn Magic Shop's unique 6-week adult magic program provides the curious adult student of magic with a robust introduction to close-up magic. Students will learn how to present sleight-of-hand and highly visual magic in a safe, inclusive, and collegial environment. Students will learn foundations in close-up magic such as misdirection fundamentals using the eyes, body, and voice, as well as classical introductions to sleight-of-hand concepts using coins, cards, and everyday objects. Students will explore character development, scripting, and the importance of structural phasing. By the end of the course, each student will be able to demonstrate multi-phased magic routines using all the concepts learned.
No skill is required: Some familiarity with basic shuffles (e.g. riffle shuffle and overhand shuffles) is recommended but not required.
Series II: Brooklyn Magic Shop's Series II 6-week adult magic program continues to explore the art of magic with a greater focus on sleight-of-hand using cards, coins, and everyday objects. Students will continue to foster the foundations in close-up magic and parlour magic while applying misdirection using the mind, eyes, and body. Students will continue to explore and develop their character in a safe, friendly, collegial, and inclusive environment. By the end of the course, each student will be able to demonstrate multi-phased magic routines. We will be offering an optional student magic showcase.
Skill is required: Completion of Foundations of Magic Series I Adult Magic Program at Brooklyn Magic Shop and an understanding of the skills learned.

Magic Day Camps
• New York City Magic Day Camps for Children
• During School Holiday Breaks 2023 - 2024
• Ages 7 to 14
• 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Magic Day Camp at Brooklyn Magic Shop offers young aspiring magicians a fun and unique exploration of the magic arts. Young magicians will develop and explore their artistic and magic skills in a safe, positive, and welcoming environment. Introductions to the history of magic will inspire character development, card magic, improvisation, magic prop-making, and the importance of using the imagination. Magicians will discover the importance of hand-eye coordination using sleight-of-hand, movement, acting, voice, and performance styles. Returning magicians will further enrich and grow their magic skills. By day's end, magicians will take the stage in the magic theater for their very own magic showcase.​

Magic props are included: All new magic materials are included for students to use and keep.
