Students will continue to build on the foundations of magic, inclusive of history and theory, and develop a deeper understanding of magic as a performing art. Students will continue to learn sleight-of-hand, physical and psychological misdirection techniques, and performance styles with a focus on close-up magic using coins, cards, everyday objects, and more. Students will further explore character development, scripting, and the importance of structural phasing. Students will be able to demonstrate multi-phased magic routines using misdirection and sleight-of-hand in our student magic showcase.

Materials: All magic materials are included with the exception of a student request for additional recommended materials (e.g. books and individualized props).​

Magic Instructors: Fingerprint Clearance and CPR Certified.

Additional Details:

• Students must be at least 9 years of age and have prior experience and knowledge in magic. Please contact for approval, skill is required. 
• Arrive shortly before the scheduled class time.
• Masks are optional.
• Molekule Air Purification. We use Molekule purification, an FDA-cleared air purifier that destroys viruses, bacteria, and pollutants.
• If sick, please do not attend.
• For absences, please inform us via email, at info@brooklynmagicshop.com.
• Classes are not refundable, but are transferable, and can be exchanged, or used as credit towards future magic classes.
