Introduction to Magic 8 - 15

This set of classes aims to inspire and grow the students’ magical interests. Students will learn how to present easy, no sleight of hand, highly visual magic tricks. We learn foundations in close-up magic such as, how to flourish a wand, how to use misdirection, character development, improvisation, and the importance of the imagination. Students will learn one of the oldest sleight-of-hand moves in magic and be able to confidently perform a complete 2 phase magic trick routine by combining character and misdirection in the Student Magic Showcase. Each student will receive a carefully curated magic set with all necessary supplies. We highly encourage students to dress in character.
