Details
Students will learn the foundations of magic, inclusive of theory, sleight of hand, misdirection, and performance styles with a focus on close-up magic. Classical introductions to sleight-of-hand concepts with coins, cards, and everyday objects. Students will explore character development, scripting, and the importance of structural phasing. By the end of the course, each student will be able to demonstrate a multi-phased mini-magic routine using misdirection and sleight-of-hand.
All materials are included.

Some skill is required.
E.g. shuffling cards, over-hand shuffles, familiarity with double lifts, basic coin handling.
